Building products from improvised user behaviors - the cynical CMO view

Quick add-on from a marketing view: when you do your business planning, you should also check out where these existing communities are in the digital universe and come up with a bottom-up estimate of their numbers. in conversations with startup CMOs or with CEOs - whenever they can not give me these numbers or can’t tell me who the key figures of these communities are I know their marketing and the numbers they sold to their investors are a hail mary.
